Cavan Ventures Inc. is a Vancouver based, TSX Venture-listed junior mining company with acquisitions in British Columbia, Canada.

The Company's vision is to become a globally diversified resources company with strong focuses in gold, silver, iron ore and copper.  It strives to become a mid-tier producer through the acquisition of mines producing iron ore and copper mineral resources in China, and continues in development of its gold projects in B.C., Canada.

Strategy

Focus on identifying other advanced projects that match our corporate growth objective of building a well-balanced mineral asset base that is strategically diversified globally. Build shareholder wealth through the advancement of these projects to production, and sustainable development of a strong financial profile among these projects. Establish these projects as free cash flow machine for the company’s overall acquisition strategy

Acquire key exploration projects with excellent discovery potential, similar to our Kaslo (previously known as Emerald) and KM (or Kisgegas) projects on-hand, at the same time continue the use of Canadian Exploration Expenditure program on these projects in Canada.

Management

Ming Chiang, President & CEO and Director

Mr. Ming Chiang obtained his bachelor degree from the University of British Columbia with Math major in 1993.

Over the past fifteen years, Mr. Chiang has developed a strong business network in the investment industry when he was an investment advisor and securities trader for one of the largest investment dealers and online trading company. Also he brings with him dynamic work experience and extensive knowledge in the finance industry when he was an account manager for one of the largest Canadian banks.

Started in 2002, Mr. Chiang has been the co-founder and director of an insurance brokerage firm. He is responsible for the daily operation of the company, including interviewing and hiring of new insurance planners, facilitating marketing projects with strategic business partners and developing corporate strategies and networks, product-training and advisor developments.

In 2006 Mr. Chiang successfully built and developed another business in Richmond, main focus of the company is marketing in the land development sector. He has grown the company and is currently active member of the management team.

With his dedicated entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Chiang has kept himself apprised of the most up-to-date finance and security market information. In addition, Mr. Chiang brings with him valuable tri-lingual and bi-cultural capability and strong relationship with Chinese successfully businesses and business owners and industry leaders. He provides a valuable link in business dealings with China and huge opportunities for investment and business alike.

Benjamin Wong, CFO and Director

Mr. Benjamin Wong, aged 39, brings to the Company over 15 years of extensive experience in finance and accounting for both private and public companies. He held management position in a number of private companies as well as companies listed in North America and Malaysia. Mr. Wong is co-founder and currently Chief Operating Officer and Director of Keywest Global Telecommunications Berhad on Malaysia Stock Exchange (MESDAQ), with annual revenues exceeding US$50 million. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and is a Certified General Accountant in Canada.

Ivan Cheong, Director

Mr Ivan Cheong, has over 25 years of extensive international experience in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Venture Capital, Mergers & Acquisitions, Strategic Planning and Business Development. He has held many senior positions in Canadian and South African private and public companies.

Currently, Mr Cheong is the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for TELUS Communications Inc., which is a leading national telecommunications company in Canada. His vast international finance and investment experience includes Asian countries like China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa.

Peter Cowdery, Director

Peter Cowdery is an independent director of the Company. Mr. Cowdery has worked in the mining industry since 1949. Since 1991 he has been self employed as a consulting Mining Engineer and his work has included reviews, evaluations and inspections of at least 25 mineral properties in China and mineral properties in the Philippines, Mexico, Myanmar, Kalimantan, Sumatra and properties in Nevada and Montana in the United States of America. In the last two years he has been involved with two programs of uranium exploration in the Athabaska sandstones. His work has entailed the preparation of at least a dozen 43-101 compliant reports on the inspected properties.

Mr. Cowdery obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree (Mining Engineering) from London (England) University in 1949 and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, in 1976. He has being a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario since February 1979 and the Professional Engineers of British Columbia since September 1990.
