Commencement of Cavan 2010 Exploration ProgramAugust 20, 2010 VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Cavan Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CVN)("Cavan"), a public mineral exploration company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, is pleased to announce that work has commenced on the KM Project located approx. 60 kilometres north of Hazelton, British Columbia. In connection with the reported results of the 2009 program disclosed in the Nov 12, 2009 news release; the company has commenced an aggressive program of geology, prospecting, sampling, and trenching to delineate targets for diamond drilling. Further outcrop-scale mapping with a focus on early structures that may control mineralization in the main sill areas will help predict and find potentially economically-viable intercepts.
